After speaking with Paul on the last shoot I did, under the bridge on Charles Street, I then began researching what he had told me about the documentary he had partaken in to try and find it to contact the producer.
After a bit of looking around I found out that it was a BBC One documentary called Swansea: Living on the Streets, and even had a photo of Paul for the main image. The documentary followed different homeless people in Swansea to give personal and in depth stories about what their life is like, and in Paul's case they even put him in contact with his family who he'd lost touch with.
On the bottom of the page it gave the details of the producer who was called Chris Rushton. I then researched his name to find his website and contact details. As you can see below, I emailed Chris about Paul, my project and I attached an email of what he looks like now. He was pleased to hear that Paul was doing well, and wanted me to get hold of his phone number to send it to him.
When I was speaking to Paul he asked me to get in contact with Chris and also asked if he could have a copy of his portrait as a nice keep sake, he then showed me other photographs that people had taken of him over the years.
So the next thing I will do is print out the photograph of Paul to give to him, and also ask about getting hold of his phone number to then forward onto Chris the producer.
